Acoustic wall that tells a story
Some acoustic solutions immediately stand out. Others reveal their character only when you take the time to look. This bespoke project, measuring no less than 11 x 3 metres, clearly falls into the latter category.

For this space, the end user had a clear requirement: a wall that not only improves acoustics, but also tells a visual story. With this in mind, our R&D specialists developed a unique design in which the image is fully integrated into the perforation of the acoustic wall covering.
A silhouette made up of perforations
The wall is made up of two layers of PET felt in Taupe. By cleverly varying the size and density of the perforations, a subtle silhouette is created that is seamlessly integrated into the design.
What makes this project special is that the image is not immediately visible. Up close, the wall appears as a refined perforated pattern. Only when you take a few steps back does the pattern form a recognisable image. This allows the design to be subtly present in the space without becoming dominant.
Subtle design, powerful acoustic performance
Because both PET felt layers are the same colour, the focus is entirely on the interplay of light, shadow and depth. The result is an acoustic wall that combines aesthetics and functionality in a natural way.
In addition to its visual appeal, the double-layer construction of PET felt contributes to a more pleasant acoustic environment. This creates a solution that both improves the sound in the space and adds a unique identity to the interior.
Sleek finishing down to the finest detail
For the calmest possible overall look, the panels feature a subtle bevelled edge. This allows the different elements to fit neatly together, making the joints almost disappear into the design.
Our own team also handled the installation, ensuring that the design, production and installation aligned perfectly.
