From plastic bottle to acoustic design panel made of PET felt

From plastic bottle to fiber
It all starts with recycled PET bottles. These are collected, sorted, and thoroughly cleaned. Then, the bottles are shredded and melted down into small pellets. These pellets are used to produce fine fibres: the basis for PET felt.
From fiber to felt panel
The fibres are built up in layers and compressed under the influence of heat and pressure. This results in a sturdy, form-stable PET felt panel. This material is durable, lightweight and possesses excellent acoustic properties. These panels form the basis for the design panels that we supply. Our 9 mm PET felt is fully produced in the Netherlands. This way, we keep the CO₂ emissions low, act responsibly, and can deliver more quickly and flexibly.
From felt panel to custom panel
Our panels take on their final shape with us. Our designers develop patterns and forms for both standard solutions and bespoke projects. Additionally, we support architects and project designers who wish to realise their own design of acoustic felt.
Using advanced cutting techniques, the panels are then produced precisely to size. This results in a unique panel that is both visually appealing and contributes functionally to the acoustics of the space.
Our Dutch felt is available in a contemporary colour range with soft pastel shades. Perfect for stylish, timeless interiors and widely applicable in projects.

The custom panels are carefully packaged and delivered to the respective location. Thanks to the lightweight material and options such as a self-adhesive back, installation is simple and efficient.
