For the new Culimaat Experience Center in Den Bosch, experience was central. Spread over more than 2,000 m², design, art, craftsmanship, and innovative interior concepts come together in an inspiring environment where visitors gather ideas and experience materials.

A City Map as Art in the Ceiling
In collaboration with Zero9, we were able to realise a special acoustic solution that perfectly complements the appearance of this unique showroom. We have an impressive PET Felt City Map of Den Bosch, integrated into the ceiling. Measuring an impressive 5 x 5 metres, the design creates a subtle connection between the space and the city.
Made-to-measure to the finest detail
The city map consists of ten panels of double-layer PET felt, intricately detailed with the characteristic street and water structures of Den Bosch. The use of multiple layers and cut-outs creates depth in the design, making the map image come to life from every angle.
Acoustics and appearance in harmony
In addition to its aesthetic value, the ceiling also contributes to pleasant acoustics. The PET felt absorbs sound and helps reduce echo, while the integrated design seamlessly blends into the interior concept. Strategically placed spots subtly highlight the design and accentuate the details of the map.
The final result
The result is a customised ceiling solution where design and functionality come together. A striking element that not only improves the acoustics but also pays tribute to the city of Den Bosch and perfectly complements the high-quality appearance of the Culimaat Experience Center.
