If the surface area of the PET felt product exceeds 1m², the self-adhesive backing should be considered a supportive measure only. We recommend additionally bonding the product with a high-quality mounting adhesive for wall or ceiling installation.

No, PET felt is not suitable for dyeing, as the dye prevents the material from absorbing properly. This causes it to lose its acoustic properties. If you want a different colour, it is better to choose PET felt in the desired colour, as the material is available in various shades.

PET felt can be easily cut to size with a sharp knife, such as a Stanley knife. Use a ruler or cutting guide for a straight and accurate cut. For thicker variants, it may be helpful to make multiple cutting movements to get through the material.

PET felt is resistant to moisture, but not completely waterproof. It can be used without problems in areas with normal humidity, such as offices and restaurants. Long-term exposure to an extremely humid environment, such as swimming pools or saunas, is not recommended. Compare it to a splash-proof phone: resistant to light exposure to moisture, but not suitable for constant or extreme humidity.
